AB Cotspin is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of cotton yarn, knitted fabrics, cottonseed oil, and oilcake. The company started its operations in 1997 with a cotton ginning plant and over the period, expanded its product portfolio from cotton bales to cottonseed oil, mustard oil, and oil cake. In 2011, it has ventured into manufacturing cotton by setting a cotton-spinning plant. In 2014, the business has set up a knitting machine and forayed into manufacturing knitted fabrics.
The firm supplies its products domestically and the majority of the customers are situated in Punjab and Haryana. The firm has one manufacturing facility located at Jaitu, Punjab. At present, the company has installed 18,000 spindles for manufacturing cotton yarn, 441 mt p.a. for knitted fabric, and 6,750 mt p.a. for seed oil/oilcake. It further has 2 warehouses and 1 shop run godown.
