The company's main activities in international export include direct export, indirect export and import of various goods and commodities. Domestically, the company is mainly engaged in the sale and purchase of goods. The company trades in agricultural commodities such as sugar, pulses, corn, cotton and rice. SEL imports and exports to the USA, Asia, Africa, Far East Asia, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
The company has developed a business strategy to switch exports from one commodity to another when demand changes or prices for a commodity are inconsistent during a season. This policy followed by the management ensures that the company does not go through a lean period during the year.
