How to close the trading account of Motilal Oswal?

If you wish to close your account in Motilal Oswal, then follow these simple steps :-

Download the account closer form from the Motilal Oswal official website, for doing this click on the following link :

https://www.motilaloswal.com/downloads/1448220008Account_Closure_Form.pdf

Download this form, and fill up all the details carefully like Client ID, DP ID, name, etc.
Mention the reason for closing this account.
Courier this form the Motilal Oswal head office.

After verifying the account closer form, your account will be deactivated. And your login ID and password will no longer be in use.

Keep these points in mind while closing an account :

In your Demat account, no securities/holdings should remain left. If you have any kind of holdings then you should transfer it into another Demat account by filling up the DIS (Delivery Instruction Slip).
All the pending / dues should be cleared, and for any stock, a portfolio should not be Negative.
All settlements should be done.
