HDFC Securities Charges Vs Zerodha

HDFC Securities is a full-service broker and charges Rs 999 to open account while Zerodha is a discount broker and charges Rs 200 (T+D), Rs 300 (T+D+C) for online account opening and Rs 400 (T+D), Rs 600 (T+D+C) for offline account opening. (T=trading, D=Demat, C=Commodity)

HDFC Securities charges Rs 750 (except 1st year) annually as Demat AMC and Zerodha charges Rs 300 annually. Both the brokers don’t have monthly and multiple plans. HDFC Securities charge brokerage on the basis of percentage or Rs 25, whichever is higher while Zerodha charges flat brokerage of Rs 20.
