Juniper Hotels Limited was incorporated in 1985 under the name "Seajuli Finance Private Limited". It is a luxury hotel development and ownership company and is the largest owner of Hyatt hotels in India regarding the number of keys. The company has a portfolio of seven hotels and serviced apartments and operates 1,836 keys as of September 30, 2023. The Company benefits from a unique and long-standing partnership of more than 40 years between Saraf Hotels (including past and present subsidiaries, collectively referred to as “Saraf Group”), a hotel developer with a strong and well-established track record in India, and subsidiaries of a globally recognized leading hospitality brand, Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) (“HHC”) (together with its subsidiaries, “Hyatt”).
The Company's hotels and serviced apartments fall under the luxury, upscale and upscale standard categories and are established landmarks in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Raipur and Hampi. Apart from Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences, the largest luxury hotel in India, Hyatt Regency Lucknow and Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad are the largest upscale hotels in their respective markets and Hyatt Raipur is the only upscale hotel in Raipur.
The company has a continuous strategy of broadening its current ownership of top-notch hotels across India. This is achieved by adding more luxurious and high-end hotels and serviced apartments to its portfolio through consolidating investments of Saraf Hotels and its subsidiaries in India-registered companies that operate in the hospitality industry. Alternatively, the company creates new opportunities to reinforce its position as the flagship of the Saraf Group.
