Amkay Products Limited was founded in October 2007. The company manufactures, assembles and distributes a comprehensive portfolio of medical devices, disposables and other healthcare products such as face masks, alcohol swabs, lancet needles, inhalers, pulse oximeters, surgical caps etc. used by healthcare centers, hospitals/clinics, nursing homes etc. across India. In addition, the company also distributes some products such as diapers, plastic gloves, suction machines, etc.
Later in 2012, the company acquired a manufacturing facility at Acchad Industrial Area, Thane, with an area of approximately 20,000 square feet, where it currently manufactures and supplies products such as face masks, alcohol swabs, inhalation masks, surgical/bladder caps, steel/plastic lancets, air beds, aprons, digital thermometers, shoe covers, blood pressure monitors, etc.
The company’s product portfolio comprises more than 30 products, including medical devices for respiratory diseases, disposable surgical products, home care products and other healthcare products. Currently, the company manufactures more than 20 products and distributes more than 10 products as branded products.
The Company's products are distributed across India and the Company has generated 99.60%, 98.94%, 98.97% and 99.18% of its total revenue from domestic sales during the period ended December 31, 2023 and financial years 2023, 2022 and 2021, respectively. In addition, the Company exported a small portion of its products to countries such as Bhutan, Nepal and Qatar and generated approximately 0.40%, 1.06%, 1.03% and 0.82% of its total revenue from sales in the period ended December 31, 2023 and financial years 2023, 2022 and 2021, respectively.
