Lloyds Engineering Works Limited was incorporated on September 19, 1994 as "Climan Properties Private Limited". The company provides a comprehensive package of engineering and infrastructure solutions covering the design, engineering, manufacture, construction and installation of heavy equipment, machinery and systems in a wide range of industries including hydrocarbons, steel, nuclear, marine, ports and construction.
Under a Scheme of Arrangement between UVSL and Lloyds Steels Industries Limited, the engineering division of UVSL was demerged into Lloyds Steels Industries Limited by an order of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay dated October 30, 2015, which was placed on record on November 30, 2015. Following the approval of the scheme, Lloyds Steels Industries Limited was listed on the stock exchange on July 18, 2016.
