Coronavirus detected in Delhi and Telangana....!! market crashes! Please be cautious market is not in a good mood. SBi Cards Grey market premium may erode, if same market prevails at the time of listing.

For Retail and Shareholder Application, do I need to submit two ASBA request?
33.1. Samriti joshi Mar 02 2020 09:34:09 AM
Yes, For each application i.e Retail, Shareholder, Employee you need to submit a separate application and submit separate ASBA requests. Each category application is treated as an individual application.

I am planning to bid for around 2L-2.5L for SBI IPO, I have only one Demat account and I am a shareholder of SBI with only. What should be the best approach to bid for me

For you, the best approach is to apply 1 lot in retail and apply 13 lots in Shareholder Quota. If things will go in your favor, you will get 1 lot in retail and proportionate basis in SH quota.

SBI Cards IPO what Strategy we should follow-
Individual Investor - Rs 2 Lakhs (13 Lots) or NII above 2 Lakhs (14+ Lots)
Shareholder Quota - Rs 2 Lakhs (13 Lots)
Employee - Up to Rs 5 Lakhs, In case of oversubscribing, base is Rs 2 Lakhs.

Experts please comments what is the best strategy to follow for SBI Cards IPO.

I am going to apply from 5 different accounts and my plan is to apply worth of Rs 10 lakhs. I am planning -
1: Retail and NII - 1 Lot from 4 accounts (Total Rs 57,380) and 1 application as NII (48 Lots worth of 6,88,560 ).
2: Shareholder Quota - from 4 Accounts - 1 Lot each (Total Rs 57,380), From 1 account - 13 lots (Total Rs 186485).
This is my plan as of now. Will changes depend on the subscription ratio.

Sir, I am not sure about HNI or NII category is worth. Please confirm what is the advantage u think. I agree 1 lot each in the retail and shareholder category. The game will depend on the subscription numbers.

Hello Kuldeep - my suggestion is

Apply 2L for each shareholder application as the allotment is going to be done on a proportionate basis. This was not the case in Ujjavan. In Ujjavan Bank IPO - Proportionate subject to minimum Bid Lot. That''s why everyone who applied one lot got full allotment.

Even though market condition not in favor but as this moment we don't see any issue with SBI cards IPO. This is most awaited IPO and with current GMP which is between 280 to 300, we don't see any major issue.
