Yes, BTST Orders are allowed with Upstox, you can do BTST (Buy Today and Sell Tomorrow) trades with Upstox. There is potential risk attached with that in case there is settlement issue with your first delivery, you need to pay exchange penalty. BTST trades are considered Delivery order, you need 100% margin for BTST like CNC order, as delivery trading is free with Upstox, so your BTST orders are part of free trade. STBT (Sell Today and Buy Tomorrow) or short selling is not allowed in India Trading market, so Upstox as a broker doesn't allow STBT. Short selling is allowed only for Intraday Trades.
