KMEW is engaged in the business of owning and operating Marine crafts for dredging and repairing and maintenance or refits of Marine Crafts and Marine Infrastructure. Over the years, it evolved from a small ship-repairing unit to a ship-owning company and currently, it is among the leading players in the small-craft business segment in India. It owns marine crafts naming River Pearl 1, 2, 3, and 4.
The company has two business verticals or segments; 1. owning and operating Marine Crafts for dredging, and 2. ancillary services - marine hydrographic & magnetometer survey, technical manpower solutions for maintenance and operations of vessels, repair & maintenance/refits of Marine crafts and infrastructure.
International Seaport Dredging Private Limited (ISDPL), Indian Port Dredging Private Limited (IPDPL), Paradip Port Trust, Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT), and Knowledge Infra Ports Private Limited are the key clients of the company.
