Sovereign Gold Bonds 2022-23-Series-1 Details

The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2022-23-Series-I opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹5091 per gram (Rs 18 down from the series 10th price of Rs 5109).

The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2022-23-Series-I (SGB 2022-23 Series 1), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 20 Jun 2022 to 24th Jun 2022. The Bonds will be issued on the 28th Jun 2022. The issue price is ₹5091 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹50 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹5041 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly on 5041/gm.

Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg.
