The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2020-21-Series-VIII opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹5177 per gram.
The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2020-21-Series-VIII (SGB 2020-21 Series 8), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 9th Nov 2020 to 13th Nov 2020. The Bonds will be issued on the 18th Nov 2020. The issue price is ₹5177 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹50 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹5127 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half yearly on 5177/gm.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg.
