The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2018-19-Series-V opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹3214 per gram.
The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2018-19-Series-V (SGB 2018-19 Series 5), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 14th Jan 2019 to 18th Jan 2019. The Bonds will be issued on the 22nd Jan 2019. The issue price is ₹3214 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹50 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹3164 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half yearly on3214/gm.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg.
