Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, a part of Adventz Group of Securities, is engaged in signalling, rail telecommunication, track construction, and is one of the leading players in the field of balllast less tracks for metro rail EPC. It is a highly diversified heavy engineering company offering various products i.e. railway freight wagons, hydro-mechanical equipment, and industrial structures, hydro-mechanical equipment, steel castings, etc. Its key business segments are 1. heavy engineering 2. Steel foundry division, and 3. rail engineering procurement construction. It also designs and manufactures special purpose wagons for core sectors i.e. cement, coal, alumina, ammonia, steel, container freight wagons, oil, fertilizers, chemicals, and defence sectors.
Currently, the company has 6 manufacturing units in Agarpara, Belgharia, Sodepur, and Panihati located at the outskirts of Kolkata, West Bengal, and Urla located in Chhattisgarh. It further exports wagons and rolling stocks in Uganda, Sri Lanka, Africa, etc. Its steel castings are being exported to countries including the USA, Australia, Mexico, and Malaysia.
