Brookfield India Real Estate Trust is India's only institutionally managed public REIT. An affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management (A global asset management company and a part of Brookfield Group) is the sponsor of the company. The aim of the company is to become the leader of high-quality income from commercial real estate.
Brookfield India REIT portfolio is spread in 14.0 MSF area with large community parks in four gateway office markets of India including Kensington (Mumbai), Candor Techspace G2 (Gurugram), Candor Techspace N1 (Noida), and Candor Techspace K1 (Kolkata). Currently, 0.1 MSF area are under construction, 10.3 MSF area is part of completed construction, and the rest 3.7 MSF is for future projects. Its committed occupancy rate is 87%.
It has a customer base in the diversified sector such as technology, healthcare, financial services, and others. The company has 75% of gross contractual rental with top 10 clients including Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Sapient, RBS, Bank of America Continuum, A Big 4 Accounting Firm, Barclays, Amdocs, and Wipro.
