Tata Mutual Fund (TMF) was set up as a Trust by Tata Sons Limited (TSL) and Tata Investment Corporation Limited (TICL) (Sponsors) on 9th May, 1995. Tata Trustee Company Limited acts as a Trustee. Tata Asset Management Limited (AMC) is the Asset Management Company for Tata Mutual Fund.
Tata Asset Management Limited (TAML) was incorporated on 15 March 1994, as an investment manager to Tata Mutual Fund and to provide Portfolio Management Services (PMS) to clients and advisory services. TAML has its glorious presence in 80 locations across the country with distribution tie-ups with all major financial intermediaries in India such as Banks, Distribution companies, Online Platforms, IFAs etc. It has a fully owned subsidiary & team in Mauritius with FII registration from SEBI to service international investors. It also manages 4 India-dedicated equity strategies for international investors.
The philosophy of TAML is centered on providing consistent and long-term results. It aims to deliver consistent results through value-based investing methodology and provide flexibility to suit the investment needs of every investor.
Apart from Mutual funds, TAML provides Portfolio Management Services to its investors to meet specific investment objectives. Tata Savings+ is an official mobile app for Tata MF investors that provide a convenient and effective way for investing in Tata Money Market Fund, Tata Liquid Fund, Tata Ultra Short Term Fund, and Tata Corporate Bond Fund. The investor can create a profile by validating the email address and PAN.
AMC has entered into an agreement with MF Utilities India Private Limited (“MFUI”) wherein investors can transact using the online transaction portal of MFU www.mfuonline.com. As in, authorized Points Of Service (POS) designated by MFUI will be considered as an Official Points of Acceptance (OPA) for all financial and non-financial transactions.
