Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd is one of the leading Indigenously Designed Developed and Manufactured (IDDM) companies. The private sector company is engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing of defence and space engineering products & solutions. It is also the only Indian supplier of critical imaging components for space applications.
The company caters to various market segments i.e. defence and space optics, defence electronics, electro-magnetic pulse protection, heavy engineering for defence and niche technologies. The firm currently owns 2 manufacturing units in Maharashtra located in Navi Mumbai and Ambernath in Thane.
The business generates most of the revenue from contracts with the government entities such as Bharat Electronics Ltd, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bharat Dynamics Ltd, Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Tata Consultancy Ltd, Solar Industries India Ltd, and others.
