Ami Organics, one of the leading research & development-driven manufacturers of specialty chemicals. The company is engaged in the development and manufacturing of advanced pharmaceutical intermediates for regulated and generic active pharmaceutical ingredients for new chemical entities. Recently, Ami Organics has acquired Gujarat Organics Limited (GOL) to manufacture starting materials for agrochemical and fine chemicals.
The Pharma intermediates manufactured by the company is used in high-growth therapeutic areas i.e. anti-retroviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-psychotic, anti-cancer, anti-Parkinson, anti-depressant, and anti-coagulant. It has developed more than 450 Pharma intermediates across 17 diversified therapeutic areas. The firm not just supplies its products in the domestic market but also exports overseas such as China, Japan, Israel, the USA, Europe, and Latin America. Cadila Healthcare Limited and Cipla Limited are some of the renowned dometic customers and overseas customers include Organike s.r.l.a Socio Unico, Fermion Oy, Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici S.p.A, Chori Co. Ltd., Medichem S.A. and Midas Pharma GmbH.
Currently, the firm owns 3 manufacturing facilities at GIDC, Sachin, GIDC, Ankleshwar, and GIDC, Jhagadia with an total installed manufacturing capacity of 2460 MTPA, 1200 MTPA, and 2400 MTPA respectively.
