Nuvama Wealth Trading Account Opening Charges & AMC

Opening a trading account is a one-time fee that Nuvama Wealth charges when you open your account.

Trading AMC (Annual Maintenance Charges) is an annual fee charged by Nuvama Wealth for maintaining your account. This is the annual fee and is deducted from your account even if you haven't traded for a year. Normally, the AMC for the trading account is free of charge.

Trade at either a flat fee of Rs 10/order with the Lite Plan or if you want to access premium services subscribes to the Elite, a percentage-based brokerage plan with many value-added features like free call & trade, dedicated RM, and advisory, proactive portfolio monitoring, free research, and more. The brokerage charges in the Elite plan are 0.03% on intraday and equity futures, and 0.30% on delivery, while equity options and currency options trading brokerage is Rs 75 and Rs 20 per lot.

Lite plan subscribers can switch to the Elite Plan for free while Elite Plan subscribers have to pay a one-time Rs 2,500 fee to switch to the Lite Plan.

There is no minimum balance commitment on the Nuvama Trading Account and also there are no hidden charges levied by the broker.

 

 

Nuvama Wealth charges flat Rs 10 per trade brokerage fee on equity delivery (Cash N carry) orders. It is a fixed fee that is not affected by the trade value. However, under the Elite Plan, the delivery brokerage is 0.30% of the trade value.

 

 

Nuvama Wealth Elite Plan is subject to a minimum brokerage fee. It charges a minimum brokerage fee of Rs 25 and 2.5% of the trade value on equity cash transactions. Thus, the applicable brokerage fee will be higher of the standard brokerage rates prescribed in the Elite plan and minimum brokerage fee.

 

 

Elite is a traditional brokerage plan that charges volume-based brokerage fee on trading on different exchanges. Nuvama Lite is a flat discount brokerage plan suitable for DIY kind of traders and investors who do not need expert assistance and premium services. The plan helps traders to save a lot on the brokerage front by paying a fixed brokerage fee of Rs 10/order on every trade.

However, users will not get free access to the Nuvama research reports & recommendations, relationship manager assistance, and also have to pay call & trade charges, net banking payin charges, etc.
