SAMCO Online Account Opening Process

Open a free SAMCO account in a completely seamless and paperless manner. The broker has a very simplified and smooth online account opening process.

If your aadhar is linked with your mobile number, you can choose to open an online account with SAMCO in less than 5 minutes.

Steps to open SAMCO Demat and Trading Account Online;

1. Head to SAMCO website and click on Open an account.
2. Register with your mobile number and OTP.
3. PAN verification: Enter and verify your PAN card number.
4. Enter your basic personal details like mother’s name, income, occupation, etc.
5. Verify your email by providing your email ID and OTP.
6. Bank details verification: Enter your bank account number and other details like IFSC code, etc. and verify it. All the fund transfer requests (deposits and withdrawals) will be processed from the linked bank account only.
7. Select trading segment: Select the segment you want to trade in be it BSE, NSE, Equity F&O, commodity, or currency.
8. Upload documents: Upload all the required documents for verification purposes.
9. E-sign the form: Verify all the details, and documents, and e-sign or digitally sign the SAMCO account opening form using your Aadhar details.

SAMCO Offline Account Opening

Have not registered your mobile number with Aadhar yet? No worries, as you can still open a trading account with SAMCO offline. SAMCO charges Rs 200 as offline account opening fee.

To open a SAMCO account offline, download the SAMCO account opening form from the broker’s website and take a printout. Fill in the basic details required, affix your signature, enclose it with necessary supporting documents, and courier all to the SAMCO registered office.

SAMCO Account Opening Documents

Here is a list of documents required for SAMCO account opening;

• Bank account proof i.e., bank statement, passbook, cancelled cheque, etc.

SAMCO Account Opening Form

SAMCO account opening forms are available on its official website. Go to the broker’s website >>> utilities >>> downloads. Enter your name, email ID, mobile number, and then select the required form i.e., trading account opening form, demat account opening form, or commodities trading account form, and submit. The account opening form will be downloaded on your system.

SAMCO Account Closure Process

Can I close SAMCO Demat account online? No, SAMCO only allows offline account closure. Before closing your Demat account with SAMCO, ensure the following;

• Clear all pending dues with SAMCO by receiving a no-dues receipt
• Transfer all your holdings or securities in another Demat account.

To close your account with SAMCO, you have to fill out the SAMCO account closure form and send it to the SAMCO Mumbai office. You can get the account closure request form by either calling at the customer service desk or you can download it from the website.
