The Sovereign Gold Bonds-2016-Series-II opens on Tuesday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹2916 per gram.
The Sovereign Gold Bonds-2016-Series-II (SGB 2016-2), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 8th Mar 2016 to 14th Mar 2016. The Bonds will be issued on the 29th Mar 2016. The issue price is ₹2916 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹0 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹2916 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.75% PA payable half yearly on2916/gm.
